What the momma thinks……

I am always looking for creative ways to get my kids to eat what I put on the table and cool party ideas. That is really what The Mini Book of Grandwiches was all about for me. It offers come eatable art ideas to spark a few laughs and make mealtime fun.

Each grandwich sandwich recipe is complete with photo, step by step instruction, ingredient list and needed tools list for completion. In all honesty these are fairly simple to create though some required a few ingredient changes to make them feasible for my family. But hey, that is one of the best parts about cooking, trying new things and making changes.

Note that there is a simple egg salad recipe in the back of the book that is delicious! Every member of my family loves it. We plan to serve tiger filled egg salad grandwiches at our son’s second birthday party next weekend as well.
