The Chapel Chronicles is a line of comic strips and gifts and collectibles. The Chapel Chronicles is a 44 page book of hand drawn, full-color comics. The Chapel Chronicles follows its 11-year-old heroine, Chapel Smith, as she navigates between tween life. Chapel is a young girl with a collection of fashionable hats, an obsession with Lady Gaga and a pet hedgehog named Rupert. Chapel has her own brand of quirky behavior and even has an archenemy, Fred. The Chapel Chronicles entertains readers of all ages.

The Chapel Chronicles is written by an Award Winning Author, Artist and Cartoonist. The Author has had 25 works of art and writing published in national magazines such as Stone Soup, Creative Kids and Skipping Stones. She has won a Gold Medal in the 2011 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for her comic book Jam Days. She has also received a Merit Award from California for her poetry collection Postcard Dreams. So who is this author who has accomplished so much and received so many honors and awards? She is 14-year-old Emma T. Capps! Emma has recently graduated 8th grade and is now being home schooled. Emma exhibited her comics at the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco in October 2011. She was the youngest exhibitor at the Museum of Comics Art’s MoCCA Fest in Aprill 2011. She donated all her MoCCA proceeds to 826 Valencia, a San Francisco based nonprofit youth writing center. Emma also teaches a comic book workshop there.
