I recently had the opportunity to work with Norwex Independent Consultant Catrina Miiller and review The Norwex Household Package.

Norwex (1)

Norwex Microfiber is a blend of polyester and polyamide and is 1/200th the size of a strand of human hair. Norwex is one of the first companies to offer microfiber cleaning clothes as a cleaning solution. Their cloths can be used wet or dry. Use dry to produce and electrostatic charge within the cloth that will attract and hold dust particles instead of pushing them around. Use wet to loosen dirt and debris and lift particles into the cloth and away from the surface. Simply wet thoroughly with water, wring out, and wipe away dirt and grime from all washable surfaces.

The Norwex Mission is to improve the quality of life by radically reducing the use of chemicals.

Norwex Cloths decrease cleaning time by up to 75% and reduce the use of cleaning products and supplies up to 90%. They reduce exposure to toxic fumes and chemicals from cleaners and cleaner indoor environments reduce allergies! Norwex Cloths are environmentally friendly. They reduce the use of paper towels, lessen contributions to landfills, decrease air and water pollution from harmful chemical cleaners, and preserve the environment for future generations!

I started with my kitchen when I received my Norwex Cloths. My son had heated Raviolis in the microwave the night before and left quiet a mess on the door of my microwave so that was the first thing I tackled. I was able to remove the mess with one swipe of the damp Enviro Cloth followed by a swipe with the dry end to give it a shine. I then followed suit with all of the other black appliances in my kitchen and the results were just as amazing. I now have a clean, shiny kitchen with no harsh chemical smells thanks to Norwex!

Cloth Care:

Boil Norwex cloths for about 10 minutes on stove 1-2 times per year to release trapped grease/soap/oil residues. For a deep clean, boil a large pot of water and remove from heat. Add 1-2 TBSP of Ultra Power Plus to the water and let cloths soak overnight. Then launder as usual in hot water. Norwex Ultra Power Plus detergent can be substituted with 1-2 Tbs each baking soda and vinegar.
