MOPS is starting Now in Neighborhoods Across Des Moines, Iowa

Denver, CO (September 13, 2012) MOPS International {Mothers of Preschoolers} announces the onset of the 2012-2013 season of MOPS groups offering encouragement, community, practical help and hope for mothers of young children  – because every mom needs a friend.

MOPS groups are communities that strive to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through kindergarten. MOPS recognizes that urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be. MOPS groups can help!

“Of all the baby must-haves I added to my registry, no one thought to recommend mom friends!   An entire community of moms existed to support me – I just didn’t know about MOPS at the time.”    – Elizabeth, MOPS mom and leader

Nearly 4000 MOPS groups meet across the United States and in 35 countries around the world. MOPS groups meet regularly to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges.

64 active MOPS groups meet across Iowa, 11 in the Des Moines metropolitan area.
