Recently we dug right into the Modern Greetings site and made custom birthday invitations for Elliot’s upcoming 3rd birthday and note cards for my newest site Iowa Sweets. The process was so simple – select the design, change the text, add photo{s} and your own special touches.
Modern Greetings offered a few surprises along the way as well. While making the Rocketing Birthday invitation our own, I found that I could change and take away the colored background and shapes along with the text. This allowed me to completely change the look of the original invitation to one that had a solid white with teal rocket design. The same design capabilities were with the back of the invitation. You could take away and change the color in the background and the design. This is a feature I have not seen before and I really like it.
I couldn’t help but create a matching envelope with style for both the invitation and notecard set. By adding the same color tone to the return address and inner lining of the envelope, I got a professional look along with my fun designs. Overall I am very happy with the design process and final product.
Also worth mentioning, the fast printing process and shipping. My custom order was at my doorstep in less than a week!
