Midwest Summer Photo Shoot with KidzBloom

Summer is an odd season for the Midwest. One day it will be nearly 100 and causing the sweat to drip, drip, drip and then the next is in the 70s and has a cool breeze blowing. I have found the easiest way to prepare for this crazy yet wonderful weather is to stock-up on tees, shorts and all purpose zip-ups.

KidzBloom is known for boutique quality kid’s clothing. Putting together a wardrobe of style is not difficult at all when shopping their website, http://kidzbloom.com. In fact I am a bit of a fashion shopaholic and find it to be overly enjoyable to say the least.

Let’s take toddler boy fashion, one of my favorite topics:

First and foremost, every great outfit needs a base which includes shirt and bottoms.

For this photo shoot, we selected the Appaman Boys ACC Tee-SOL which is amazingly soft and carries a rare slim fit. Perfect for the active little boy. The design is a rocking Statue of Liberty with blasting red, white and blues. Very patriotic and yet artsy at the same time. I simply love it and want one for me!

The Appaman Boys Hudson Shorts are a double button, zipper closure style. Navy blue in color and have a fashionable cuff roll at the knee. They have an average fit, which means they are a tad big in the waste for my little guy but the length is perfecto.

When those cooler days strike, I like to have zip-ups, hoodies and simple sweaters on hand like the Appaman Boys Roebling Zip Up. This piece is the one that gave me the biggest surprise. It was roomy yet slim fitting, warm yet not overly thick and cuddly soft. You will also find a zipper closure with larger pull ideal for little hands and dual pockets to store the important things in.

The final and most important item is the right accessory to pull it all together and give you that pop feel. I just that with the Appaman Boys Pilot Sunglasses. They give off that bad boy, I’m as cool as can be look. These really took the outfit from the preppy, pretty boy to a hot bad boy, jock look. It is funny how a single thing can create such a drastic change. The Appaman Boys Pilot Sunglasses are also fabulously multipurpose and provide eye protection that our little man needs.
