  1. I’m always encouraging the grandparents to give the gift of travel or experiences to make memories rather than more toys.

  2. My daughter travels with a group of neighborhood athletes who compete in different challenges in their age category. So for the last 3 years, we’ve been giving her gift cards to Southwest Airlines. She loves them! It helps her with her travels. Your article is right on about making good times and memories by taking trips together!! When we went on a tour of Europe, we seen many a beautiful country! We didn’t realize how close those countries were. They are like our states. We went in April of 2002. A lot of people were scared to fly because of September 11th, so there were not that many people on the tour or on the planes. Also in Amsterdam, they had their pot cafes. Were you could buy and smoke marijuana there. I think they stopped that now though. I can still remember that trip like it was yesterday! This information was pin worthy. Thank you for sharing!

  3. A few years ago I took my son to Europe for his birthday, we had a wonderful time. Travel is a gift that will never be forgotten.
