Create custom photo reels with Image3D

Growing up I was so fond of the simpler things in life. Coloring books, crayons, puzzles and cool what nots such as the View-Master were always at the top of my holiday wish list. These are nearly unheard of things for a child to request from good ole Saint Nick now days. I however an on a mission to bring back the best of my beloved toys that made me get up and move, giggle and spring to live with joy. So you can bet your last dollar that Image3D Reel & Viewer Set can be found under the Iowa Mom tree this year!

The process of creating your own 3D reel is simple. Visit www.image3d.com and click Build A Reel; then add your favorite photos to the boxes seen on the page. The most difficult part is narrowing down those beloved photos to just seven to include in your reel. No worries though if you can’t decide! Just order a few additional reels at a discounted rate which starts after you purchase 2 or more. After the photo selection is complete, name your reel, preview and add a center image and text to make it your own.

I created a summer 12′ reel to allow my children the ability to retrieve those memories in a super fun way!

With holiday gift giving season in mind, I suggest starting with a Image3D set with contains one reel, viewer and gift box. The first set is $24.95 and you get that same great discount when you purchase 2 or more in one shopping cart. The set includes a 7 photo reel just like the one I created above, a View-Master style in your choice of Red, Black, Blue or White and glossy white box making it easy to wrap-up tight for Christmas morning.

My only gruff is that I wish the View-Master itself was a little heavier. It is very light weight and seemingly hallow; however it has held up well under under the pressure of daily play from my toddler.

About Image3D

If you’ve picked up an original View-Master in the last few decades, chances are the images were shot by one man. Rich Dubnow (aka the Most Experienced 3D Photographer in the World) was lead photographer at View-Master for twenty years producing work for creative visionaries like Jim Henson and Steven Spielberg.

In 1997, Rich founded Image3D in the picturesque Pacific Northwest. Since then, we’ve grown from a kitchen table operation to a state-of-the-art facility producing custom-made 3D experiences for everyone from blushing brides to corporate titans.
