BabySpa Bath Time Happiness

My favorite time of day is when we wind down and start our bedtime routine. After a long day of running around it is great to quietly slow the pace and focus on just one little being in front of me. From bath to bed, each kid gets some well-deserved one on one attention.

We were recently introduced to BabySpa products and their line of skin care products tailored to children’s skin based on age. This is a great new logical concept. Their stage 1 products are made specifically for babies from infancy through the crawling months. Stage 2 is geared towards walking children through the preschool years. They take into consideration that the older toddlers spend time outdoors, and therefore are exposed to the sun and the wind much more than the delicate babies.

BabySpa Review. Healing and Soothing Baby Skincare

We received the Baby Essentials, stage 1 basket to review. Although we were provided the products the opinions are all our own, especially my children’s. The basket included the following items:

  • 3 in 1 Tearless Shampoo, Body Wash and Moisturizer
  • Moisturizing Body Lotion
  • Shea Butter Diaper Cream
  • Ultra Soft Baby Wipes
  • Face Cream

The presentation of the BabySpa products was perfect for a baby shower or new baby present. As a matter of fact, one of my dearest friends is having a baby this week and I will get her one of these gift sets.

BabySpa Review

Shea Butter Diaper Cream:
The arrival of the BabySpa items could not have been more timely. Our two year old developed a red and painful diaper rash just a few hours before the UPS guy rang our doorbell. I was excited to try the Shea Butter Diaper Cream as quickly as I could tear into the box. Our toddler reacted instantly to the cream being applied to his raw diaper rash. He paused a moment, I asked if he was OK and he replied “mama, give me more of that cream!” I happily obliged and he was content. We continued to apply the cream through bed time, and in the morning his skin was smooth and pink, not red and raw.

3 in 1 Tearless Shampoo, Body and Moisturizer:
During the evening bath for our two youngest boys (9 months and 2 years old) I washed both of them with the 3 in 1 wash. It lathered so nicely in their hair, I felt that they got a good deep clean and that all the germs and grime from the day were washed away. Their skin was left lightly scented, smooth and not at all dry, like some of the washes can do to a baby’s delicate skin.

Moisturizing Body Lotion:
Both of our little boys received a quick massage with the body lotion. They really enjoyed the closeness of the massage and I loved how soft and baby-delightful their skin was. These products are very lightly scented, nothing overwhelming, but really pleasant and natural.

BabySpa Happiness. Skincare for Babies and Toddlers

Ultra Soft Baby Wipes:
The wipes were first used on Jansen’s raw rash, which went over much better than I had expected. This proved that the ingredients are truly natural and exactly the things you want to put on a baby’s delicate skin. The wipes were moist enough to wipe a dirty bottom clean without having to use force or an excessive amount of wipes. I prefer to use these wipes over any of the other brands that we have laying around the house. I love that the ingredients are natural and they were durable and moist to perfection.

The Face Cream:
Our 9 month old baby is going through a rough patch of “face meets floor” as he is crawling, cruising along furniture and trying his luck at standing whenever possible. He currently has a big scab on his forehead and nose from a failed attempt at crawling. The BabySpa Face Cream came in handy, as I wanted to keep the scrapes from drying out and leaving him with scars. The cream was surprisingly thick, yet after the application it appeared very light and perfectly moisturizing. I have continued to apply the cream to Jonah’s face for the past several days and his scab are healing nicely – hopefully without leaving any scars at all.

I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with the natural baby skin care products in the BabySpa package. The ingredients are natural, which is rather evident in the quality of the product and how it leaves the skin feeling. I am excited to pick up a basket of the Stage 2 products next time I am at the store. As the mother of four boys here in South Florida we are always on the hunt for natural skin care for our sun, sand and wind exposed bodies. BabySpa has filled the need for natural skin care for young delicate skin.
