We are true animal lovers and had a glamorous time during the Amazing Pets show, located at Grand Country Music Hall in Branson, MO. This show is is performed daily at 10:00 a.m. and runs between 1-2 hours, which is great for keeping younger children occupied and features exciting acts and tricks from a troupe of skilled dogs, trained housecats and birds in flight. We found there to be enough laughter and action to peek the interest of all ages.
The show stars an amazing cast of furry creatures, each of these pets will win a place in your hearts as they perform just a few feet in front of you, and a talented dad + daughter team that trains and preforms with each of them throughout the show. As you enjoy each talented act, keep in mind that many have been rescued from animal shelters across the country. It is surprising to see far each of these creatures have come from homeless to beloved by all.
In addition to talented dogs and cats doing what they like to do, you’ll see beautiful exotic birds and many other magical surprises that will put a smile on your face! We were graced with a floating feather as the stunning macaw flew over our heads. It was a memory piece we won’t soon forget and will be placed in one of our photo box travel memories that will be passed on to my daughters’ when they are grown and ready to leave the nest.
During intermission (a great time for the notorious potty break), you will get a chance to take photos with the cast including one of the well-mannered, dressed in style pets.
As for the setting and location, the stage and seating area is fairly small, so youngsters can see the action in full swing. If you have ever taken your toddler to a ball game or even a movie with a tall adult seating in in the seat right in front, you have an understanding of why I appreciate this so much. Since Amazing Pets is conveniently located at Grand Country, be sure to head over the the Fun Zone for a round of Laser Tag and a race around the track on the indoor go-carts! If that’s not enough fun, your travel group can get cooled off by Missouri’s first indoor waterpark, Splash Country Indoors.
