Best Western Music Capital Inn (family suite)

Of all of the resorts and hotels we have stayed at while vacationing Branson, Best Western Music Capital Inn is by far the most modern and updated in design. It is upscale without the cost typically associate with luxury.

Location: 3257 Shepherd of the Hills Expy, Branson, MO. The address places Music Capital Inn within walking distance to both the Promised Land Zoo and the IMAX Entertainment Complex as well as Golden Corral. Driving in Branson during the busy season is not one of our favorite experiences and being close to attractions and restaurants is a great idea when possible.

Notable amenities:

  • Indoor heated pool and spa featuring saltwater
  • Sauna
  • Game Room / Arcade
  • Laundry Room – pay for use washer and dryer
  • Fitness Room
  • Free wifi
  • Complimentary hot breakfast buffet

Family suites (4 on site) come equipped with 2 queen beds, pull-out sofabed, desk that doubles as a small kitchen table, recliner chair, microwave, refrigerator and TV. The suite also has a full bathroom with secondary sink which is fantastic when you have many trying to get ready all at once for the day. There is plenty of walking around room and seating for a larger family.

Overall thoughts: We found the resort to be comfortable, clean with kind service. While the sofa and chairs are very typical of your chain hotels, they were tasteful in color and were welcomed to be available for seating. The beds were soft with plentiful bedding and pillows allowing for a great night’s rest. Breakfast offered many choices, served hot and included in the room cost. We were beyond happy with this location.

Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows (suite)

When you are looking for a more rustic location with a country feel, Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows is the place for your family. Can you say deer heads and bears oh my? The interior has a cabin look with modern furnishings. When visiting a busy tourist city, this hotel offers you a bit of a quiet getaway.

Location: 5150 Gretna Rd, Branson, MO. America’s Fun Spot, Greatest Adventures Miniature Gold and The Shoppes of Branson Meadows are all fairly close by but unless your family is walking adventurous, I suggest taking a car. This leaves the hotel far enough away that you will most likely be driving to locations you want to visit but will also give you the best privacy from the city.

Notable amenities:

  • Indoor heated pool and spa featuring saltwater
  • Sauna
  • Game Room / Arcade
  • Laundry Room – pay for use washer and dryer
  • Fitness Room
  • Free wifi
  • Complimentary hot breakfast buffet

Suites are equipped with 2 queen beds, pull-out sofabed, small desk with chair, microwave, refrigerator and TV. This suite also has a full bathroom with secondary sink. This was the smallest of the suites we staying in during our vacation. While it does allow for 6 people, we wouldn’t want to spend hours of our time all in this one room.

Overall thoughts: Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows is beautiful with tasteful country furnishings and wooded views. The suites are a bit small for a large family but I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time in the room anyway. There is too many stunning views and a warm pool to lounge in to keep me cooped up. I just loved the feel of the lobby and could see myself curling up while playing a card game with the kids by the fire. This would be a stunning location in the winter months.

Best Family-Friendly Hotels in Branson, MO

Best Western Center Pointe Inn (family suite)

For those that are heading to Branson for the action, shows and attractions, Best Western Center Pointe Inn is exactly where you want to be. This hotels boasts direct access to your room from the outside with several buildings for maximum availability. Offering both indoor and outdoor pools that help with crowding as well as give you options when the weather is pleasant.

Location: 3215 W 76 Country Blvd, Branson, MO. This places you right on the strip and the best area for seeing the nightlife. You are within walking distance to several major attractions including: Titanic Museum, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Branson Ferris Wheel, Hollywood Wax Museum and more. We also suggest taking dinner across the street at Pasghetti’s.

Notable amenities:

  • Indoor heated pool and spa featuring saltwater
  • Outdoor pool and hot tub
  • Sauna
  • Game Room / Arcade
  • Laundry Room – pay for use washer and dryer
  • Fitness Room
  • Free wifi
  • Complimentary hot breakfast buffet

There is only one family suite on site and while I suggest calling the resort to see available dates when you wish to book your room. This is a hard to come by room but one you will be ecstatic that you landed. This suite offers two large bedrooms, an excessively large bathroom and two dedicated parking spots right in front of your door.

Bedroom one boosts a large king size bed with luxurious bedding and several pillows. The second has two queen beds that offer a fantastic nights rest. The master bedroom has a door that takes you to a private patio that is right outside of the outdoor pool area. The inside features a large desk, large TV and chair with stone fireplace. This create a nice romantic feel with privacy we had yet to experience at any of the other locations. The secondary bedroom connects to the bathroom and also sorts a table with chair as well as it’s own TV. When you are traveling with four children two rooms with two tv can mean the difference when the words bedtime arrive.

Overall thoughts: The hotel is the only one that offers direct access to your room from the street. When we are in a safe area with a well-kept hotel, this is great for taking your bags into the room without the extra doors, elevators and walk. However, unless you are in the main building this means you will have to walk outdoors to get to the indoor amenities including pool and breakfast. Since it was the beginning of summer when we booked our stay, we preferred this since the outdoor pool was within 30 steps.

As for room, I would call this location to see if the family suite was available every time when visited in the warmer months. There is something truly special about having a door between you and your kids after a long day of loud play. There is only so much a parent can take in one day. Not to mention being able to sneak out to spend a bit of alone time with your significant other after the kids go to bed.
