I use rechargeable batteries. But, Ive had them for a few years and its time to get new ones. I collect rainwater to water my chickens. I try to use paper bags when I go to the grocery. If I cant, then I reuse the bags in the bathroom garbage can. I even reuse Ziplock bags, depending what the were used for. I wash them and prop them open to dry.

    hello, i use rechargeable batteries.

  5. Jill Jacoby says:

I use rechargeable batteries in a lot of things and collect rain water.

  10. K-Squared says:

With the beginning of prices starting to increase, I learned the value (that my single-mother tried to teach each of us children) of saving money in any way possible. In certain occasions I might save enough to afford rechargable batteries, however I always save & re-use rain water on my plants.

Winning this prize would be a blessing in so many ways for family & myself!

  11. Judy Cox says:

No, I have no rechargeable type items. I have heard of these and it probably be nice and easier with a rechageable battery.

  12. jeri boss says:

  13. Cynthia P says:

At this point all I use are rechargeable appliances (cell-phone, toothbrush, camera, etc) but I’d sure like to use more!

  15. Della miller says:

I use rechargeable batteries and solar chargers

  16. David Smith says:

We have rechargeable AA batteries for our cameras and the controllers for the XBox One, XBox 360 and PS/3 are all rechargeable on their charging docks. I’d love to have a photovoltaic installation to reduce our electric bill since our house is all electric.

  17. kristin h says:

    I use rechargable batteries

  18. The only thing I have is some rechargeable batteries, but working on getting some other green items

  19. I tried using rechargeable batteries for a while and they ended up messing up the date stamp/memory on my digital SLR camera. :( I also had to get the charger replaced after a few months. Overall not a good experience with Energizer products. I would love to try a solar recharger for my Kindle, phone, etc. I try to be environmentally responsible as much as I can.
