    The best healthy living tip I know is to keep moving – you don’t have to exercise for 30 minutes straight if you don’t have time, as long as you move all day. Take the stairs, walk from the end of the parking lot, chase the kids – it all adds up!

    It sounds too simple, but drinking lots of water is SO key! I gave up soda and now I only drink water and tea, and my digestion and skin are so, so much better now because of this simple change!

    I can’t rave enough about drinking the right amount of water for your body weight. The positive affects is has on your your body are endless!

    Keep medical appointments, take medication as prescribed, get annual pap smear and Mammogram, if applicable. Talk to Doctor about all issues and don’t allow them to brush you off.

    Considering I’m not exactly the healthiest living person its difficult for me to give any tips. I’m trying to change that though.

    Avoid foods with highly processed ingredient. Eat organic when possible. Apple Cider Vinegar and Coconut oil are remedies for tons of things! Don’t use harsh chemicals to clean when vinegar and orange rinds can do the trick!

    I start off my day with hot water & lemon. There are so many benefits but mostly it helps to start my day hydrated.

    My doctor recommended steel-cut oatmeal because it has more fiber and protein than the more-processed oatmeal. It is REALLY good, and doesn’t take too long to fix – about 10 minutes altogether!

    My best fitness and health tip that I actually won a Gift Card from Push Pedal Pull was “Set a time every night that you are going to do at least 10 minutes of exercise (mine is 7pm) and do it, no excuses. Just Do It!” you can spare at least 10 minutes. I usually do 30 minutes.

    My healthy living tip is to take each day as a new day, don’t hold onto what you didn’t get done yesterday, don’t stress…enjoy life and live.

    My favorite tip is to not eat processed foods. Whole foods are always the best and the recipes to be found online these days are fabulous!

    I use honey instead of sugar to stay healthy! Lots of fruit and veggies and water….really does the trick. I lost 100 pounds last year. :)

    Too busy for exercise? Park your car far from the door but near a cart return if you have kids so that you can get errand exercise.

    What I try to do to stay healthy is just make healthy eating choices (like using ground turkey rather than ground beef for burgers, lots of fruits and veggies, etc.) and to keep moving! I used to just sit the majority of my day, and I now try to keep moving and cleaning and not sit as much!

    green smoothies! i would love to have one every morning.. just throw fruits and a handful or two of greens in your blender with a bit of water & voila! a great, energizing way to start your day! one of my faves has banana, apple, berries & chard!

    I drink tons of water and try to only eat whole foods, nothing processed! It’s hard to do, but worth the results!

    While exercise is a big part of staying fit, eating the right foods is too! And making sure that you are eating the right proportions is always a must to stay fit! :)

    Garden! Good excercize, fresh food! And don’t forget that a lot of weeds are edible and good for you too…like dandelions, and clover (in moderation)! So skip the weed killer on your back yard and pull those puppies up and into a salad.

    One of the best things I learned is to shop outside the aisles of the grocery store. If you stick to the outer walls, that’s where you find the freshest, healthiest, and least-processed food!

    I have to agree with drinking lots of water, cutting out soda (hard, I know)…I haven’t been able to give it up completely myself, but only have them occasionally now…what a difference!

    Grow/raise your own food. It’s exercise, you know EXACTLY what went into/on your food, it’s better for the environment and you will be healthier doing it!

    Since I have to deal with some physical limitations, I’ve turned more to my mental well being to stay healthy. Besides meditation, I work each day at staying in a positive frame of mind by being grateful for all that’s around me. I’ve learned so much about life by being still and watching the magic.

    my best healthy living tip would be, if you don’t buy it (and bring it into your house) you won’t eat it! If we don’t have soda, chips, candy etc. we don’t eat it. Also eat before you go to the grocery store so you don’t impulse buy unhealthy products!

    My best healthy living tips – at least what I do – is to cut in half portions of “fattening” foods. I don’t eliminate anything, but I’m careful with portion control. Fill in the gap with veggies and fruit. Drink plenty of water, especially before and during meals.

    wherever I’m walking, even if it’s just from the car to the house, I walk like I’ve got somewhere to be. part of it is that I feel like it gives me a bit more exercise, part of it is that I’m impatient! I go nuts when I get trapped behind people at the store who walk like they’re on their way to the electric chair lol

    My best healthy living tip is water…..drink lots of water. Personally, water is just about all I drink, it’s atleast 90% of all I drink….I drink well over the recommended eight glasses a day! probably close to double that…no sodas at all…. I think drinking more water is probably one of the simplest things someone can do to be more healthy….

    Best tip I can think of- live in the moment. Treat yourself with kindness. Listen to your body’s needs. If you do this, everything else should fall into place.

    drink lots of water or green tea. eat fresh foods with less preservatives. and do some kind of movement every day. do 3 squats before sitting down, do walking lunges into the other room, etc.

    Best tip is to shop the perimeter of the grocery store, stay away from all of the pre-packaged stuff in the middle isles.

    For me, its all about creating the right balance. Eating consciously and living a happy and active lifestyle when possible but also splurging once in a while. Life is too short to count calories. :)

    a good tonic to ward off colds: Boil 1 cup of fresh pine needle tips in two cups water briskly for 5 minutes, strain and add one spoonful of honey to the Tea water. This brew kept folks alive during WW1 & WW11 in northern Europe.

    When you finish fixing your plate, put just a little bit back of each entree, don’t eat after 6pm, try to use the stairs in place of elevators, drink lots and lots of water

    One of the healthiest things we can do for ourselves is to drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of fluid a day. If you remember that water makes up about 60 percent of your body weight it is easy to understand the importance of it.

    My best healthy living tip is to do the best that you can, every day. Drink plenty of water, incorporate some form of exercise into your day and try to cut back on the sugars. We can’t be perfect, but celebrate the positives and learn from the negatives.

    Avoid fluoride by making ur own toothpaste (or buying fluoride free versions), using reverse osmosis water for drinking & cooking.

    As a family we eat only 1 meat meal a week, the rest are vegetarian and most of what we eat we try to get from our garden. It has made a huge change for our family health wise. :)

    I personally believe that a plant based diet is the best way to live healthy. Also add in some exercise…. It makes you feel really good too! You don’t have to be believe in the morals of veganism to eat like one.

    My best tip: Stay OUT of the sun! Get your needed Vitamin D from supplements and food. I had skin cancer already (from sun exposure) right in the middle of my face. It left an ugly scar and the experience was NOT fun. Ladies, PLEASE – do not try to “tan”! Not only does it give you wrinkles and age spots, but cancer, too!!!!!

    I keep in mind always to strive for 10,000 steps daily especially on the days that I’m not able to walk the five miles I normally walk. I do things like NOT looking for the closest parking spot and taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

    My best (and easiest) tip is to drink lots of water, but I see lots of others already said that… so how about, trying to get enough sleep every night! (Easier said than done when you have little ones, though!)

    Enjoy what you like to eat in moderation and walk when you can, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Eating balanced and getting even a little exercise will go a long way and is easier to maintain.

    I love salads but often find myself reaching for something less healthy because I don’t want to take the time to clean and chop everything. I recently started preparing a ton of salad and saving it in pint sized mason jars. It lasts at least a week, and all I have to do is grab it out of the refrigerator and add dressing.

    I know it is kind of obvious, but drinking water is amazing! It changes everything. Our poor bodies crave it, and most of us don’t give it half of what it needs. So drink that water!!!!

    I have cut back on sugar and I have become more conscious of how much sugar is in almost everything.Therefore to counter balance I regularly exercise on a daily basis.
